Baieido 梅栄堂
Baieido 梅栄堂
For over 360 years, Baieido has been a master of fragrance, crafting some of Japan's most revered traditional incense. Established in 1657 in the historic incense-making city of Sakai, Osaka. Baieido continues to honor its legacy as a "Jinko-ya" or maker of medicinal incense.
Their creations are born from centuries-old secret formulas and a deep respect for natural raw materials. At the heart of their collection is the famed Kobunboku line, a masterful blend of Sandalwood, Borneol (Ryunou), and traditional herbs that embodies the spirit of the plum blossom, a symbol of peace and purity.
Notes & Highlights
Notes & Highlights
This pure floral heart is supported by a delicate, high-quality Sandalwood base, which adds a clean, woody undertone that enhances the rose's natural complexity rather than overpowering it.
About the Floral Series (フローラルの香り):
Moving beyond deeply traditional woody and spicy profiles, this Baieido's collection captures the vibrant, sophisticated scents of the natural world. Each incense in the Floral Series is created to be a bright, refreshing, and often smokeless interpretation of a cherished flower, offering a modern way to enjoy the art of Japanese fragrance.
⚠️ Important Safety Note: Always burn incense in a well-ventilated area, keep it away from flammable materials, children, and pets, and never leave burning incense unattended. Ensure the burner is stable and on a protected surface, and allow ash and burner to cool completely before handling.
