Baieido 梅栄堂

For over 360 years, Baieido has been a master of fragrance, crafting some of Japan's most revered traditional incense. Established in 1657 in the historic incense-making city of Sakai, Osaka. Baieido continues to honor its legacy as a "Jinko-ya" or maker of medicinal incense.

Their creations are born from centuries-old secret formulas and a deep respect for natural raw materials. At the heart of their collection is the famed Kobunboku line, a masterful blend of Sandalwood, Borneol (Ryunou), and traditional herbs that embodies the spirit of the plum blossom, a symbol of peace and purity.

Notes & Highlights

Shin (New) Kokonoe is based on a bright and pure note of high-quality Sandalwood, which is masterfully blended to evoke the fresh, green, and delicate floral impression of Narcissus. Unlike the spicy warmth of more traditional blends, Shin-Kokonoe is wonderfully crisp and clean, presenting a refined, airy scent that brightens a room without being overpowering.
